When I found out that I was expecting for the third time, I was excited and saddened. It took over a year to shed all of the pregnancy weight that I had gained. I was enjoying fitting into all of my pre-pregnancy clothes.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the feeling of a new life growing inside of me. It is the most incredible feeling ever. Well, all most, I could do without the foot jammed into my ribcage.

I just don’t like the “mom body” look. With my second, I gained a whopping 55 pounds. I did start out a little underweight, but at the end of the pregnancy I was within 20 pounds of my husband’s weight! Yikes!

This time around I do not want to gain all of that unnecessary weight during pregnancy. I know that I need to gain some weight because of the growing uterus, baby, placenta, amniotic fluid, but I don’t want to gain too much in the wrong places again.

My health care provider as told me that I can exercise but I need to keep my heart rate low enough that I can hold a normal conversation while exercising, then my heart rate is in an acceptable range.

Ok, great. Now, what kinds of exercises can I safely do? Unfortunately my health care provider is not a physical trainer who is skilled in developing physical workout routines for pregnant women. After much searching round, I discovered slim mom exercise secrets. Right off the bat, what I liked with her program is that she is a mom who used own advice to limit her weight gain during pregnancy and then shed the pounds after her son’s birth.

The truth is, many women admit their life-long struggle with weight began after they became pregnant. During pregnancy most women think that ‘I am eating for two, so I can eat whatever I want to’. A close friend of mine put on over 50 pounds during her first pregnancy, mostly from eating junk, ice cream, cookies and high calorie junk food. After she gave birth she was eating cookies and loved the fact that she was losing weight. Well, after six weeks the natural weight loss after pregnancy stopped and she started to pack on the pounds again.

Unfortunately she is not alone, many admit to packing on 40, 50, or 60+ pounds. They may lose half of it after giving birth… but they never lose the other half. With each additional pregnancy they keep adding more and more weight until, one day; they hardly recognize themselves in the mirror.

But I’m here to tell you, loud and clear, that you don’t have to trade in an attractive body for motherhood. You can have both. In fact, you can feel good during your pregnancy, have a beautiful, healthy baby… and still get back into your pre-pregnancy shape (or even better!) afterwards. And I’ll be honored to show you how. But first…

I didn’t know what foods, supplements, beauty products, and exercises are safe, or dangerous, during each trimester of my pregnancy. And I didn’t know the simple thinks that I can do to…

Prevent some of pregnancy’s most unpleasant side effects like:

Most all of my friends believe that these things are the rite of passage of pregnancy. But it doesn’t have to be.

Even more important is having a healthy baby. Most women know vaguely about the importance of nutrition in pregnancy, but they struggle with what to eat, what not to eat, how much to eat. Did you know that there are good carbohydrates and bad carbohydrates? I didn’t, not until I read and followed slim mom .

Kegel Exercises Don’t Work – Learn How To Do Them Right And They Do Work!

How many times have I heard women say that that Kegel exercise don’t work in strengthening their pelvic floor muscles? Way too often. Just about every woman tells me that they do Kegels daily but their pelvic muscles are not getting stronger.
